High-Performance, Single Component, Polyurethane Sealant
PU 523 is a single-component (moisture curing), polyurethane joint sealant. The sealant has a 25% joint movement capability. It has good gunning, tooling and cure characteristics over a wide temperature and humidity range.

- Cast in place concrete
- Precast panels
- Brick and block work
- General purpose perimeter caulking
Features & Benefits
- No bubbling/blistering when cured under conditions of high temperature and humidity.
- Excellent adhesion on a wide variety of substrates.
- Excellent gunning, tooling and storage stability over a wide range of temperatures.
- Good chemical resistance.
- Can be overpainted with water based paints. Other types of paints should be discussed with tech service. However, paint is generally not as flexible as PU 523 and therefore the paint may crack and peel as a result of joint movement.
