Amphibia Waterproofing Membrane Accessory
TREMproof Amphibia Grip Tape is a double-sided, synthetic rubber composite membrane tape, with a butyl adhesive on one side and a fleece material facing. A removable release paper protects the adhesive membrane backing until removed during installation.
Basic Uses
- TREMproof Amphibia Grip Tape is used to seal TREMproof Amphibia sheet waterproofing membrane seam overlaps during installation, allowing for the continuous adhesion of the membrane to the concrete.
- The TREMproof Amphibia Grip tape and adhesive prevents the overlaps of the membrane sheets from being “opened” during installation, as well as during construction procedures.
- The butyl tape bonds strongly to the TREMproof Amphibia membrane to seal the overlaps, while the fleece facing enhances the tape’s ability to adhere to concrete.
- The TREMproof Amphibia Grip Tape is adhered to the white, non-woven fleece fabric layer of the Amphibia waterproofing membrane facing the installer and pressed or rolled down to ensure full adhesion.
