Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG) has clinched the 4-ticks Leader rating under the Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) certification scheme for its SG300 structural glazing sealant and SG555 premium non stain (non-bleed) silicone sealant, the highest-tier certification for green building products in Singapore. Additionally, the company also attained 3-ticks for its SG556 all-purpose glazing sealant and SG558 premium weatherseal sealant, demonstrating product excellence in carbon-efficient technology while also facilitating sustainable procurement.
The SGBP certification scheme is one of the most rigorous benchmarks for green building products in Singapore, and it is also widely accepted by regional green building rating tools. The SGBP certification is awarded to products and materials that are more carbon-efficient, ensuring sustainability is integrated throughout the design and manufacturing process of green building products that contribute to a sustainable built environment. More specifically, this rigorous certification process considers the amount of embodied carbon related to each product. Embodied carbon refers to the carbon dioxide equivalent of emissions associated with the full supply chain of all materials and systems during the product’s life cycle.

Tremco CPG’s SG300, SG555, SG556, and SG558 sealants are produced in its manufacturing plant in Asan, Korea, and have previously been certified by the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology for low carbon footprint.
These regional certifications provide an additional layer of transparency and credibility for specifiers choosing materials with superior environmental performance benchmarked against current industrial standards.
